What is CAPA?
Formed in 2006, CAPA provides students with professional, intensive Performing Arts training alongside the rigor of academic arts study. This combination of professional training and academia provides students with the skill, training, experience, knowledge, understanding and qualifications to progress to a career in the Arts.
CAPA’s ethos is to provide balanced, all-round Performing Arts training in a wide range of genres providing students with versatility in terms of their skill set, creative approach and awareness of the Arts.
Places are limited at CAPA to ensure that every student gets the individual attention, tailor made training and extensive pastoral care, advice and guidance to ensure they fully achieve their full potential in the Arts.
CAPA’s professional approach and ethos continues to be maintained throughout all aspects of its provision. Students have minimum contact time delivered by a highly experienced team of teachers, directors, choreographers, designers and musicians. Training is delivered in professional industry standard facilities, students gain extensive professional experience performing across the UK and gain experience working alongside a number of professional artists, companies and theatre venues.
