As a student at Cathedral Academy, you have the right to be happy, safe and protected from harm. As an academy, we want to support you with the latest information, guidance and support to minimise potential risks that you may face. Keeping you safe and secure is at the heart of everything we do at Cathedral Academy.
You must inform a member of the Safeguarding team if you are (or think you might be), or are worried about a friend that:
- Being bullied
- Physically harmed or abused
- Receiving threatening messages
- Victim of Cyber bullying
- Being Sexually abused or exploited
- Being groomed on the internet
- Suffering from neglect
- Being emotionally abused.
- Feeling depressed
- Feeling suicidal
- Are self-harming
- Suffering from eating disorders
- Abusing alcohol or drugs.
As a student at the academy, you will learn about and be provided the very best key advice, information and guidance through assemblies, form time, lesson time, drop-down days and special events.
