A rapidly improving academy

Cathedral Academy is a rapidly improving school. Since early 2016, the academy has been run by Principal Rob Marsh, an established leader from one of the best academy schools in the country.

The academy will formally join the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), enabling it to be supported to achieve its vision of outstanding provision for all.

The last full Ofsted inspection which you can read here was conducted in 2016. The academy also had a section 8 inspection in 2015 which can be accessed from the link above. Since then a wide range of improvements and changes have been made, and we welcome visits and queries from parents who would like to know more about our significant improvements.

Ofsted invites parents to submit their views on their child’s school confidentially. A summary of the results are then displayed on Ofsted’s Parent View website. Please note that all your answers are kept completely confidential by Ofsted. Although we can view (along with other members of the public) a summary of the overall results, we have no access to individual answers and we cannot see who has completed the survey.

If you would like to know more about our relationship with the Trinity MAT, please see the Principal’s welcome or contact us.
